Mountain Dew and Pepsi litter highway after single rig wreck

A load of Mountain Dew and Pepsi spilled on highway in Virginia on Wednesday after a wreck involving a single semi truck. 

The accident happened on Wednesday, December 13th in Norfolk, Virginia on Interstate 64 at around 7:30 a.m. 

According to ABC 8 News, the semi truck was heading east when it struck multiple concrete barriers near the Tidewater Drive exit. 

Police say that the wreck ripped open the trailer and the fuel tank, leaving soda bottles and diesel fuel strewn across the roadway. 

The cause of the wreck is not clear. No further information has been released.
