New dash cam video shows runaway gravel truck plowing into vehicles and car dealership in Tooele

A new dash cam video provides a stunning look at a runaway gravel truck crash involving dozens of vehicles that occurred in Tooele, Utah, on Friday afternoon.

The crash occurred around 1:30 p.m. on Friday, November 3 ,as a truck pulling loaded two loaded gravel trailers is believed to have experienced brake failure.

The runaway gravel truck went through several intersections, striking five vehicles and then crashing into dozens of cars at the Tooele Motor Company in the area of 1000 North and Main Street, sparking a large structure fire.

Eleven people were hurt, including a 67 year old woman who was airlifted with major injuries.

In the new dash cam video, you can see the runaway truck striking multiple vehicles in the intersection, striking a pole, and veering into the auto dealership parking lot while on fire.
