New song ‘Last Load To Heaven’ pays tribute to fallen truckers

Published:

Country artist Andy Pursell released a new track called “Last Load to Heaven” celebrating the truck drivers who gave it all to life on the road.

The song was released by Pursell to commemorate Trucker Appreciation Day on October 4. Pursell uses the song to celebrate the lives of fallen truckers in a way feels triumphant, not sad.

Pursell is a CDL holder who has driven both short and long haul, according to a review in antiMusic.

Check out some lyrics below:

He was born to drive all through the night and across the open road. He’s Heaven-bound, leaving town, hauling his last load. He’s an angel riding high tonight, made it through the heavy storm. The diesel’s running through his blood to help him get back home.
