Ohio State Highway Patrol recognizes trucker for 4 million mile achievement

Published:

Last week, members of the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) helped to honor a truck driver for hitting a remarkable safety milestone.

On May 3, Anthony Perkins from Lewis Center, Ohio, was recognized by Yellow LTL Freight and OSHP troopers and inspectors for achieving four million safe miles without a preventable crash.

The event included a police escort to welcome Perkins to the yard for a celebration of his accomplishment. OSHP also brought their marked semi truck to the event.

“We applaud Anthony for his dedication and commitment to traffic safety,” OSHP said.
