One person died in a two truck crash in Virginia on Friday morning, according to Virginia State Police (VSP).
The crash occurred on I-64 near the Bowers Hill Interchange in Chesapeake.
VSP says that a tractor trailer driver parked on the right closed shoulder of the interstate and was asleep in the truck when the crash occurred.
A second semi truck traveling east on I-64 toward I-664 north went off the road and struck the parked truck from the rear.
VSP confirmed one person was killed in the crash.

Heavy traffic backups have been reported in the area.
