One person reported dead following train vs. truck collision in Alabama

Officials in Colbert County, Alabama, have confirmed one person is dead following a Tuesday train vs. truck collision.

The crash remains under investigation.

The crash occurred on April 11 in Tuscumbia, Alabama.

According to reports, an eastbound Norfolk-Southern train struck a truck that was making a turn at the railroad crossing off Highway 72 at Golden Road.

Officials have confirmed that one person was killed but the identity of the person has not been released.
