No one was seriously hurt in a wreck involving a semi truck and three cars in Utah on Tuesday.
The accident happened on August 22nd in Layton, Utah on Interstate 15 at mile marker 331 between Hill Field Road and Church.
The Utah Highway Patrol reports that a semi truck was heading southbound on I-15 when it lost control on a wet road. The rig struck two cars in the first lane and one in the HOV lane before coming to a rest against the highway barrier.
Only minor injuries were reported and no one was taken to the hospital. Two lanes were blocked while officials cleared the wreckage and investigated the incident.
The truck driver told police that he hydroplaned, and officers confirmed that there was water on the road at the time of the wreck, but the official cause of the incident has not been released, reported KUTV 2.
