Police searching for tractor trailer that spilled cement near fire station and drove away

Police are searching for the driver responsible after a tractor trailer spilled cement near a fire station in Massachusetts and drove away. 

The incident happened on Tuesday, November 14th on Bedford Street near the Abington Fire Station in Abington, Massachusetts. 

According to Boston 25 News, the rig spilled some wet concrete on the roadway and then pulled over and stopped briefly before driving away on southbound Route 18. 

Officers and work crews arrived at the scene and shut down three lanes of traffic for hours as crews worked to clear the cement from the roadway. Several cars were damaged as a result of the spill. Nearby businesses were able to provide police with surveillance footage to assist in the investigation.
