A trucker’s dash cam footage shows an SUV’s egregious turn in front of a semi truck that nearly caused a collision at 70 mph.
The footage was recorded on Wednesday, November 8th on US Route 30 at John Brown Road in Van Wert, Ohio just before 10:50 a.m. and was shared to Facebook by the Van Wert County Sheriff’s Office.
“The black SUV scene in this video passes a semi truck and then proceeds to slow down to make the turn onto John Brown Road. This would have been a serious crash with a semi moving at 70 mph,” the sheriff’s Office wrote of the near-incident.
“The Sheriff’s Office has utilizes [sic] money from a State Traffic Safety Grant for extra hours for Traffic Enforcement and will be showing attention to this area.”
