Reversing semi truck causes building explosion

A building exploded in West Virginia on Friday morning when a reversing tractor trailer backed into it.

The incident occurred on May 19th at 6 a.m. on Circle Drive in Baxter.

According to WDTV 5 News, the truck driver was backing up to dump a load of gravel when they accidentally hit the side of a building, severing a gas line. The severed gas line then caused a fiery explosion.

The building was empty at the time and nobody was hurt. The building burned for at least 2 and a half hours.
