Road rage incident earns trucker felony charges after he threw items at a pickup truck and crashed into a van in Indiana earlier this week.

The incident occurred on October 16th in Fort Wayne, Indiana on Interstate 69 between mile markers 302 and 311.

According to WANE 15 News, 38-year-old truck driver David Nabity began flipping off and tailgating a pickup truck driver. The pickup changed lanes, so Nabity pulled up beside it and began throwing things while trying to run the pickup off the road.

During the truck driver’s attempts to run the pickup off the road, he crashed into a van, shattering a window and breaking a side mirror. The pickup also sustained some damage from the items thrown by Nabity. The van then pulled over and the truck driver drove off.

Police eventually found the semi truck on Lima Road and stopped it. Nabity is now facing charges for criminal recklessness, a Level 6 felony, and two Class B misdemeanors. He has a hearing scheduled for October 20th.
