A new Saia trucking terminal has been purchased in southwestern Ohio, records show.
The purchase of the property in Riverside, Ohio at 3118 Transportation Road was made last week on Tuesday, November 21st.
According to Dayton Daily News, the property was purchased by Saia Motor Freight Line LLC from RLR Investments LLC for $2.9 million. The property is described as a functional terminal with 11,500 square feet of space with 20 foot ceilings and 30 dock doors.Â
The property falls in close proximity to a former YRC Freight terminal, as well as Old Dominion Freight, Holland Trucking Company, and UPS Freight terminals. Saia also has a preexisting terminal at 3154 Transportation Road.
The Riverside property marks the eighth terminal opened by Saia this year. Saia is based in Johns Creek, Georgia, and has 194 terminals throughout the United States. The company employs almost 14,000 people.
