Semi truck driver ejected during collision with train

Multiple agencies in Texas have responded to an injury train vs. truck collision that occurred Wednesday afternoon.

The crash occurred on U.S. Highway 77 in Refugio, Texas.

KIIITV reports that a truck driver was inside the cab and wasn’t wearing a seatbelt when the collision occurred, resulting in his ejection.

The extent of the truck driver’s injuries is unknown.

Multiple agencies including the Refugio County Sheriff’s Office, Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers, the Refugio Volunteer Fire Department, Refugio EMS, Refugio County Office of Emergency Management, and Railroad personnel are responding to the scene.
