Semi truck nearly submerged in Arkansas floodwaters

Published:

A semi truck became submerged in floodwaters after getting stuck on a roadway in Arkansas on Wednesday.

Scott County Emergency Management in Waldron, Arkansas reported that the semi truck was pulling an empty trailer when it got stuck. It was only after the truck got stuck that the water began to rise.

The driver of the truck was okay, and there were no chickens in the trailer at the time of the flooding.

Heavy rains moved across Arkansas on Wednesday, causing flooding in multiple low-lying and poorly drained areas.
