Sheetz extends diesel and DEF discounts through the end of September

Published:

Convenience store chain Sheetz announced that they will extend Truck Driver Appreciation Week discounts through the end of the month.

Earlier this month, Sheetz announced they would reduce diesel fuel prices by 35 cents per gallon to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Truck Driver Appreciation Week (TDAW) at all 680 Sheetz stores. The company also offered diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) for 99 cents a gallon at all stores as part of TDAW.

The diesel and DEF discounts were initially scheduled for September 4 — 16, but Sheetz recently announced that they will extend the discounts for the rest of the month.

“Truck drivers positively impact the fabric of everyday American life,” said Travis Sheetz, president and CEO of Sheetz. “They are truly the backbone of this country and, as a company, we are committed to showing our appreciation. Our hope through this is to provide extended offers that will be beneficial to them and involve the public so we can shine a light on the hard work these drivers do.”

In addition to the fuel and DEF deals, Sheetz is also offering food and drink discounts through the Sheetz app for truckers to celebrate Truck Driver Appreciation:

  • September 15 — 21 – Mix and match any (2) 20 oz sodas for $2 with any purchase
  • September 22 — 30 – Earn 500 bonus loyalty points with any purchase
  • October 1 — 7 – Purchase any two Powerades for $3
