Sleepy trucker plows straight into federal courthouse

A case of drowsy driving sent one driver into the front of a courthouse in Georgia on Thursday night. 

The accident occurred on the evening of May 11th in Dublin, Georgia. 

According to 13 WMAZ, the truck driver fell asleep at the wheel and drove through a set of barricades before striking the J Roy Rowland Federal Courthouse. 

The truck driver was not hurt in the wreck. It is unclear how much damage was done to the courthouse building, but at least one of the columns was damaged in the incident. 

No further information has been released.
