A massive tanker fire in Utah sent smoke and flames shooting into the sky as the rear trailer burned.
The incident occurred before 8 a.m. on Wednesday, September 27th in Loa, Utah on State Route 24 near mile post 45. The area has been described as remote.
According to 2 KUTV News, the semi truck was hauling double tanker trailers when the rear trailer overturned and caught fire. Soon, the entire truck was consumed by flames.
The truck driver was able to escape the rig without injury.
State Route 24 was shut down in both directions until 1 p.m. as crews extinguished the fire. No further information has been released.
