The South Dakota Highway Patrol (SDHP) shared several photos from a Friday evening pileup involving a dozen semi trucks.
The pileup occurred on March 17 on I-90 near White Lake.
SDHP said that 12 passenger vehicles and 12 semi trucks were involved in the pileup.
Additionally, troopers reported “an estimated 40 passenger vehicles and 30 semi combinations became stopped in the pileup that did not receive damage. Some vehicles entered the median to avoid collisions that were not damaged as well.”
Only minor injuries were reported.
