SpaceX super loads spotted rolling through Kansas

The Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP) recently shared impressive photos of a pair of super loads that travelled through the state over the weekend.

On May 28, KHP Trooper Tod shared images of trucks hauling super loads for Elon Musk’s SpaceX on Kansas highways.

KHP said that these are these are 16 foot wide, 300 foot long, 600,000 pound structures making their way through the state at top speeds of 45 m.p.h.

KHP said the the SpaceX loads travelled south from Oakley on US 83 and would eventually leave Kansas near Elkhart.

KSN reports that the structures being hauled are empty tanks that are headed to a SpaceX facility in Texas.
