Tennessee Task Force seizes $1 million worth of weed from semi’s sleeper berth

The West Tennessee Drug Task Force (WTDTF) seized hundreds of pounds of marijuana from a semi truck this week.

The drug seizure occurred on Tuesday, September 12.

WTDTF agents conducted a traffic stop on a semi truck on I-40 in Haywood County, Tennessee.

During a “probable cause and consent search, “agents found “uhaul boxes nearly filling the entire sleeper containing 307 pounds of marijuana.”

The estimated street value of the seized marijuana is $1,075,000.00.

The marijuana was seized.

WTDTF says that one “previously convicted male” was taken into custody.
