Extensive flooding in the Detroit metro area has shut down multiple freeways and even completely submerged cars.
As of 10:30 a.m. CST on Thursday, August 24th, ABC 7 reports that severe flooding in the Detroit, Michigan has forced the closure of the following roadways:
- Both directions of I-275 under I-94 in Romulus
- Southbound I-75 at Eureka
- Harvey St. from Ann Arbor Trail to Penniman in Plymouth
- Omo Rd. from 30 mile Rd. to 31 Mile Rd. in Macomb County
- Both directions of Haggerty Rd. north of W. Maple Rd. in West Bloomfield
Use caution if traveling through the area on Thursday.
