Traffic stop for unsecured vehicle load ends in CMV driver arrested and out of service

The Georgia Department of Public Safety (DPS) shared details about a recent traffic stop that resulted in an out of service order and a driver arrest.

On April 6, Georgia DPS took to social media to detail how a traffic stop for load securement led to a discovered weapons violation.

From Georgia DPS:

MCO3 Harrison (Region G) stopped this CMV for unsecured vehicles and discovered the driver was a felon possessing a firearm. The driver was arrested, and the vehicle was placed out of service. Great work!
