The accident happened on October 18th in San Antonio, Texas at around 3:30 p.m. at Loop 1604 and US 90.

According to Kens 5 News, twenty Scobee Middle School students were on board the Southwest ISD bus at the time of the accident, which was partially caught on the dash cam of a nearby car. The video shows a bus traveling through an intersection and being struck by a semi truck, which spun the bus around and seriously damaged the front end.

Police say that the unnamed truck driver admitted to running the red light during the initial investigation. It is still unclear what charges, if any, the truck driver is facing.
