Truck driver cited for excessive speed following crash that spilled household trash

Published:

New Hampshire State Police (NHSP) cited a truck driver on Tuesday morning following a messy rollover crash that spilled trash in the Barrington area.

NHSP was called to the scene of a crash at 1253 Franklin Pierce Highway in Barrington around 5 a.m. on Tuesday, February 21.

Responding officers “observed a 2009 Peterbilt tractor with attached trailer, resting on its side with the cab of the vehicle against a tree.”

The rollover crash resulted in the contents of the trailer, household trash, spilling out onto the roadway and surrounding area.

Sixty-seven year old New Hampshire-based truck driver David Garon was not injured in the crash.

NHSP said that Garon was cited for “excessive speed.” His truck was placed out of service due to “debilitating damage.”

Troopers are requesting that anyone who may have information, or witnessed the crash, contact the Barrington Police Department at (603) 664-7679.
