Truck hauling 50,000 pound military trailer got stuck on retaining wall, Oklahoma troopers say

Published:

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) responded on Tuesday after a truck hauling a 50,000 pound military trailer got stuck on a retaining wall in Oklahoma City.

OHP responded to the scene around 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 28.

Troopers said that “a semi flatbed hauling a military trailer weighing 50,000 pounds somehow got off their route and got hung up on the retaining wall of the Belle Isle Bridge.”

“It has been quite the ordeal to get the mess cleaned up. A crane had to be brought in to lift up the military trailer,” OHP said.

OHP shared several photos of the stuck truck and the recovery process involving the crane.
