A trucker may face charges for an alleged hatchet attack on a car that was caught on Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) traffic cameras.
According to KARE 11, the incident took place at 5:30 p.m. on October 25 in Lakevile, Minnesota, at an I-35 off ramp.
A 911 caller reported that a truck driver damaged their vehicle with a hatchet during a suspected road rage encounter.
By the time Minnesota State Police responded to the 911 call, the truck was already gone.
The Lakeville Police Department located and stopped the suspect’s truck on I-35 in in New Market Township.
The 40 year old truck driver was arrested and charges are pending.
No injuries were reported.
