Trucker cited after metal debris from load puncture motorists’ tires

Trucker cited after multiple motorists’ experience flat tires due to lost load in Ohio on Wednesday morning.

The incident happened on December 6th in Westlake, Ohio at around 8 a.m. 

According to News 5 Cleveland, the semi truck was hauling metal on westbound Interstate 90 near the Crocker Road exit when some of the load spilled onto the freeway. 

Seven four wheelers drove over the spilled debris and experienced flat tires as a result. 

Officers were able to locate the truck driver and get them stopped. The driver was then cited for the loose load. No further information has been released.
