A truck driver was injured on Friday after a chunk of ice from another truck hit and shattered his windshield on Highway 401 in Ontario.
The incident was reported around 11 a.m. on January 27 by Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
Police say that a truck traveling on Highway 401 near Courtice Road was struck by an ice missile that came off another truck.
The flying ice shattered the windshield on the driver’s side.
OPP says that the truck driver suffered injuries that required hospitalization.
OPP did not provide information on whether they have located the truck that the ice came from or whether that truck driver could face charges.
