The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) is investigating an armed robbery involving a semi truck driver that occurred on the Ohio Turnpike on Tuesday evening.
The robbery took place around 6:40 p.m. on December 5 in Perrysburg, Ohio, 13ABC reports.
Troopers say that a semi truck was stopped on the shoulder of the westbound lanes of the Ohio Turnpike.
Two suspects wearing ski masks parked their car on Mandell Road. The suspects then approached the parked semi, opened the door of the truck, and showed the truck driver their weapons.
The suspects robbed the truck driver and then ran back to their car on Mandell Road and fled the scene.
No injuries were reported.
OSHP is still seeking the two suspects.
