Trucker says someone threw ‘two big rocks’ at his semi from an overpass in Texas

A truck driver reported that he was targeted by a suspect or suspects throwing rocks at his vehicle over the weekend in Midland, Texas.

The rock throwing incident occurred on Saturday, April 22, around 10:45 p.m.

The driver was eastbound on I-20 at mile marker 140 in Midland, Texas, when someone “threw 2 big rocks onto [the] truck from the overpass which hit the passenger side windshield and landed in the bunk on the bed.”

The truck driver was able to stop the vehicle safely and suffered only minor cuts.

The incident was reported to police and is being investigated as an act of
criminal mischief.

“It will be greatly appreciated if you could share with everyone so all the fellow drivers are aware of this kind of incident,” they said.

So far this year, other rock-throwing incidents targeting commercial vehicles have been reported in Indiana and North Carolina.
