The Wyoming Highway Patrol (WHP) shared incredible dash cam video from a commercial vehicle driver “as a reminder of how circumstances can change in an instant while driving.”
The video was captured in August 2023 on I-80 at mile marker 97.
Troopers say that a westbound SUV hit a median cable barrier. In the video, you can see that the SUV enters eastbound I-80 on the shoulder and nearly strikes an eastbound car in the left lane.
No serious injuries were reported, according to WHP.
The dash cammer’s truck was damaged by flying debris.
“This video serves as a reminder of how circumstances can change in an instant while driving. Always maintain a safe distance and have an awareness of your surroundings and avoid distractions,” WHP said.
