Trucker’s “hankering” for BBQ sets him on the path to winning $1M lottery ticket

A trucker who stopped by a grocery store after getting hit by a craving for some barbeque won big after buying his first lottery ticket during the errand.

Trucker Tim Allen stopped by a local grocery store in Danville, Virginia to satisfy his “hankering” for a barbeque sandwich earlier this month. During the errand, Allen says he decided to buy his first ever lottery raffle ticket, and bought two of the tickets along with his sandwich.

Much to Allen’s surprise, one of the tickets ended up winning him a $1 million prize.

“I couldn’t believe it!” Allen said to News Observer. “It was the first time I’d bought a Raffle ticket.”

Allen continued on to say it “feels great” and that the win filled him with “pure excitement.”

Congratulations, driver!
