‘Trucks Are For Girls’ — Girl Scouts to get hands-on experience with the trucking industry at event

Published:

One hundred Girl Scouts will get the opportunity to learn more about the supply chain and the trucking industry at a planned event later this month.

On September 30, Paper Transport will host a gaggle of Girl Scouts at the company’s Green Bay headquarters to provide education and inspiration about careers within the trucking industry. The event is also meant to educate the scouts on practicing safety around big rigs.

The event is being held in partnership with Michelin Tires and the Women in Trucking Association.

During the event, the Girl Scouts will have the opportunity to participate in fun trucking-related activities, hear from women working in the industry, and to climb inside a truck.

Girl Scouts who attend the event can earn a Women in Trucking patch.
