Two CMV drivers headed for Mexico taken out of service in Georgia

The Georgia Department of Public Safety (DPS) recently sidelined two drivers for unsafe commercial motor vehicle operations.

On July 6, Georgia DPS shared a social media post that detailed a recent traffic stop involving two unsafe commercial vehicles.

From Georgia DPS:

This past weekend MCCD Officers in Troup County and Newton County stopped unsafe commercial vehicles leaving Georgia for Mexico. Both drivers were placed out of service, ticketed for no CDL, unsecured load, unsafe vehicle, and more. MCCD Officers are working hard to keep Georgia roadways safe.

Georgia DPS shared photos of the unsafe CMVs.
