Two people have been hospitalized after their semi truck went off of an overpass in Pennsylvania on Sunday afternoon.

The accident happened on February 12th at around 2:20 p.m. in Frackville.

According to Skook News, the tractor trailer was heading southbound on interstate 81 just before the Frackville exit when it veered into the median and went airborne at the bridge over Altamont Boulevard. The semi truck then landed on Altamont Boulevard with the trailer overturned.

The male truck driver and female passenger both had to be extricated by emergency responders and were flown to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries. A pickup truck was also struck as the rig fell onto Altamont Boulevard, but the motorist was not hurt.
