Unclear who is at-fault in intersection crash that injured police officer, overturned semi truck 

Investigators are still unsure of the circumstances behind a serious wreck that sent a police officer to the hospital and overturned a semi truck. 

The accident happened at 9:47 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12th in Warwick, New York. 

According to the Daily Voice, police officer Jordan Tetreault was driving southwest on Route 94 through the Warwick Turnpike intersection when she was struck by a tractor trailer driven by Mouhamadou Diallo. 

The force of the impact sent the semi truck skidding into a telephone pole, where it overturned. Tetreault was found unconscious inside of her vehicle with serious injuries. Firefighters worked for 45 minutes to remove the roof of the patrol vehicle to get her out of the car.

Tetreault regained consciousness before being airlifted to a hospital. Diallo was taken to a hospital by ambulance for minor injuries. 

New York State Police are searching for witnesses to the crash. Anyone who saw the incident is asked to contact the New York State Police at the Monroe Barracks.
