A dramatic train vs. truck collision was caught on video in Cobb County, Georgia, on Tuesday morning.
The crash occurred at VMH and Austell Powder Springs Rd in Austell, Georgia.

In the video, you can see the truck slowly making its way across the railroad tracks while a number of passenger vehicles wait on the other side of the crossing. The truck is partially across the tracks when the crossing arm descends and warning lights are activated. You can hear the oncoming Norfolk Southern freight train approaching as the truck continues to inch forward.
The passenger vehicle drivers all spot the train and begin backing quickly away from the crossing, appearing to leave the truck plenty of room to move ahead, but the truck driver fails to clear the trailer from the tracks before the train barrels into it.
The truck driver was not injured.
