Video captured last week shows protesters in Portland climbing on top of and surrounding a semi truck.
The video was captured on November 17, 2023, at the Boeing facility in Portland, Oregon.
A group of demonstrators gathered for a “Shut It Down! For Palestine” rally at the facility.
In video captured at the scene, you can see a dozens of people swarming the semi truck as it enters the facility. One person who has climbed on the hood of the truck appears to be striking the truck with an object.
KPIC reports that there was no damage to the truck and that the driver was not hurt. The driver reportedly left the facility and “”decided to come back another time.”

A number of “Shut It Down! For Palestine” protest activities have been reported in the past few weeks. The group is demonstrating for a “free Palestine” and demands “an immediate ceasefire, cutting all aid to Israel, and lifting the siege on Gaza.”
Last week, a protest shut down the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge into San Francisco for two hours. Eighty people were arrested and 29 vehicles were towed, KCRA reports.
