VIDEO: Trucker ‘somehow’ avoids a head-on crash with a delivery van

Police in Ontario, Canada, shared a trucker’s dash cam video of a near head-on crash with a delivery van as a reminder not to drive distracted.

The dash cam video was captured on December 3, 2023, and shared by Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) North East Region.

In the video, you can see the white delivery van striking the shoulder, then losing control and crossing the center line, coming directly into the path of the dash cammer’s truck.

“North Bay OPP advises that a moment of inattention can cost you your life … This 24y/o driver somehow avoided a head-on collision. The driver was charged with Unsafe move – lane or shoulder. No one was injured,” OPP said.
