A semi truck driver merges left at an extremely inopportune time in this dash cam clip recently shared by Canadian police.
In a dash cam clip shared on February 2, 2023, by Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), a truck driver changes lanes as an officer is passing on the left, forcing the officer off the roadway onto the shoulder. The officer reacts swiftly and initiates a traffic stop seconds later.
“Failing to check before changing lanes can lead to terrible results. Signal, check your side and rear view mirrors, then look over your shoulder to check your blind spots before safely changing lanes,” OPP said.
