America’s leading propane company is actively seeking seasonal delivery drivers and service technicians as they gear up for the busy winter season ahead.
King of Prussia, Pennsylvania-headquartered AmeriGas was founded in 1959 and over decades of operation has grown to become the nation’s premiere propane retailer, serving more than 1.5 million residential, commercial, industrial, and motor fuel propane customers in all 50 states. Propane is a vital necessity for millions of American homeowners and businesses. As winter approaches and demand for heating fuels increases, AmeriGas is proud to provide communities across the country with the propane they need to stay warm as temperatures outside plummet.
So, what’s the day-to-day experience like for AmeriGas workers? We asked current drivers and service techs to take a moment to share their experiences working for the company. Here’s what they had to say.
Right now, AmeriGas is staffing up to ensure that they can fill customer demands during the busy months of October through March. Workers enjoy Seasonal positions because they offer the chance to gain experience, get your foot in the door, and test drive a new career.
What’s In It for You?
Benefits of both the Seasonal Delivery Driver and Seasonal Service Technicians positions include opportunities for career growth beyond the season and the chance to work with a dynamic professional team. AmeriGas also offers sign-on bonuses in select locations and competitive pay, a $1,000 employee referral program, an employee propane discount, and potential eligibility for healthcare benefits and paid time off depending on your hours.
Seasonal Delivery Drivers
AmeriGas is offering CDL-A and B drivers the opportunity to grow their careers while serving their communities through local Seasonal Delivery Driver positions this winter. Delivery Drivers are tasked with safely operating a delivery truck on a provided route to deliver propane cylinders to customers and to fill residential and commercial tanks with propane.
Seasonal Service Technicians
AmeriGas is also seeking CDL-A or B holders who have Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake Endorsements for Seasonal Service Technician opportunities. Service Techs spend their day driving a flatbed truck with a crane and boom attached to deliver propane, completing installations, and conducting maintenance for both residential and commercial customers.
