Texas woman shot and killed by a truck driver in Texas on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident occurred on September 19th in Van Zandt County, Texas at around 1:30 p.m. on Interstate 20.
The Van Zandt County Sheriff’s Office reports that a woman in a car and a man in a tractor trailer were both heading east on I-20 when they got into a suspected road rage incident. At some point, the truck driver shot into the car, killing the unnamed female motorist.
Truck driver Jason Rashad Williams has been charged with murder, and three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Police suspect road rage as the reason behind the shooting. The woman’s identity has not been released.
