Woman in recent “Dukes of Hazzard’ leap says the incident “just replays over and over”

The motorist in a recently viral video showing a car vaulting over a tow truck says she spends each night just reliving the incident over and over.

“I don’t really remember much, but I know that I thought I was going to die,” Tanaijsha Bruton said, reported ABC News. “It hurts really, really bad. I felt everything.”

The body cam footage shows the car driving up the ramp of a flatbed tow truck and absolutely flying over the top of it. The car flew 120 feet before striking another vehicle and landing upside down.

“When I go to sleep that’s pretty much what I dream about,” 21-year-old Bruton said. “It just replays over and over.”

Bruton says she sustained internal injuries that required multiple surgeries and she’s grateful she survived.

“My family didn’t want to show me the video,” Bruton said. “But of course, I’m hardheaded and got on social media.”
