Multiple Texas law enforcement agencies partnered for a Commercial Vehicle Enforcement (CVE) operation in Lewisville.
The CVE operation took place October 30, 2024, at Railroad Park in Lewisville, Texas.

- Level II inspections-1

- Out of Service Violations-25
- Trucks out of service-17
- 43% of trucks were placed out of service due to safety issues
Participating agencies include the Lewisville Police Department, the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Denton County Sheriff’s Office, the City of Denton Police Department, the Carrollton Texas Police Department, the Colony Police Department, and the Flower Mound Police Department.

From verifying that vehicles meet size and weight limitations to ensuring drivers are following proper hours of service and equipment is up to safety standards, CVE teams focus on preventing accidents and promoting safer roadways for all. Safety is our top priority-citations are just a byproduct of making sure Texas roads are safer for everyone,” said the Lewisville Police Department.
