Indiana lottery officials say that a winning Powerball ticket sold at a truck stop is set to expire this week.
According to Hoosier Lottery, a winning Powerball ticket sold on November 11, 2023, is set to expire on Thursday, May 9, 2024.
The Powerball ticket matched four out of five white balls and is a $50,000 winner.
The ticket was sold at a Love’s Travel Stop located at 11207 W. SR 10 in Demotte, Indiana.
“The ticket holder should ensure their ticket is in a secure place, consider meeting with a financial advisor and contact Hoosier Lottery customer service at 1-800-955-6886 for specific claim instructions,” lottery officials said.
The ticket must be claimed by no later than 4:30 p.m. (EST) on May 9 at the Hoosier Lottery Prize Payment office located at 1302 N. Meridian St. in Indianapolis in order to be honored.
