Multiple people were hospitalized following a major crash that left a big rig partially hanging off of a New York State Thruway overpass on Thursday morning.
The crash occurred on the morning of March 14 on eastbound I-90 between Henrietta and Victor, New York.
According to Henrietta Fire District, a crash on the Thruway left a semi truck “hanging off the bridge over Pittsford Mendon Center Road.”
New York State Police say that the semi truck struck a disabled car containing three adults and a baby before it crashed off the overpass.
All four people in the disabled car and the semi truck driver were hospitalized with minor injuries.
The crash is under investigation by New York State Police.
The New York State Thruway reports slowed traffic on eastbound I-90 between Exits 45 and 46.
