CHP to host ‘Truck Driver Appreciation Day’ with catered lunch at commercial vehicle enforcement facility

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is inviting truckers to enjoy lunch at a commercial vehicle enforcement facility to celebrate National Truck Driver Appreciation Week.

CHP recently announced a “Truck Driver Appreciation Day” event to be held on September 10, 2024, at the Gilroy Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility located at 12000 South Valley Freeway in San Martin, California.

Drivers are invited to browse informational booths at the facility from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A catered lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

“We wish to convey our gratitude for the exceptional effort the truck driving community dedicate to transporting America’s treasures! Your unwavering commitment and tireless endeavors are truly appreciated,” CHP said.

National Truck Driver Appreciation Week is taking place September 15 — 21, 2024.
