Colorado police issued a truck driver a citation after the school district released video of a CMV passing a stopped school bus.
The video was captured shortly after 7 a.m. on January 11 on Highway 131 in South Routt County, Colorado.
In the video, you can see the school bus stop with the stop sign and warning lights activated. Shortly after the bus stops, it is passed by a commercial truck.
KDVR reports that after the video was released by the South Routt County School District, the Colorado State Patrol located and cited the 38 year old truck driver for “failing to stop for a stopped school bus displaying flashing red lights.”
