CMV fails to slow, causing chain-reaction crash

A semi truck was unable to stop in time for slowed traffic, causing a chain-reaction crash on Tuesday morning. 

The accident happened on August 27th in Madera County, California on northbound Highway 41 at the Avenue 12 stop light. 

According to Your Central Valley News, the semi truck was unable to stop in time for stopped traffic and rear ended a white Honda. The truck came to a stop partially on top of the Honda, causing a chain-reaction crash involving multiple other vehicles. 

The motorist inside of the Honda was not critically hurt in the crash, but may have sustained a concussion. No other injuries were reported. 

The wreck has since been cleared and traffic is reportedly flowing normally. No other information has been released.
