Dozens of wheels and tires swiped from construction company trucks in Texas

A construction company is offering a cash reward for information after dozens of truck wheels and tires were recently stolen from the company’s vehicles.

Approximately 100 tires have been stolen from TexCon/TexCrete trucks in two separate incidents in Robertson and Montgomery counties in Texas, according to KBTX.

The thefts took place overnight on July 28 and on August 4.

During each of the two theft incidents, suspects reportedly removed locks from the front gates and disabled security cameras.

The company says that when drivers showed up for work in the morning, they were unable operate their equipment, resulting in financial hardship for TexCon/TexCrete.

TexCon is offering a $5000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office at 979-828-3299, or Brazos County CrimeStoppers anonymously at 979-775-TIPS to be eligible for the reward.
